Custom Tatted-Edge Hanky

Description

This picture is a sample of the hand tatted edging I will put on a hanky for you. The edging can be made in a variety of colors, convo me with requests or ideas.

Perfect for a wedding handkerchief, especially with a blue edging. The handkerchief measures 10 1/2" square including the lace. Please allow at least 2 weeks for delivery as I edge each handkerchief individually.

The white cotton handkerchief is premade and embroidered. Please note that the embroidery on your hanky may differ from picture depending on when I purchase it. If you would rather have an unembroidered or differently colored handkerchief, please let me know and allow another week for me to order it.

Tatting is a method of making lace dating back to the time of Elizabeth I. The look is achieved by tying tiny knots to create rings and chains. This piece was made using the shuttle tatting method.
