"All those golden Autumn days the sky was full of wings." This L.I. Wilder quote was a perfect match for this third of a four seasons series. "wings" measures thirty inches tall counting her impressive vintage feather duster turned magnificent headdress!

She is made of all found materials, except for her commercially new feather accented pantaloons. Her face and body are made of vintage cotton fabrics and she is stuffed with hypoallergenic poly-fiberfill. Wings cape is fashioned from a vintage velour curtain remnant and the turban is a twist of several fabric stitched down with golden thread. I don't use any glue in the construction of my dolls. Wings bodacious jewels are of the 1960's plastic variety and her cape collar is a piece of vintage found crochet trim.

I hand embroidered Wings face. I think she has a serene and noble gaze, don't you?
