Anya Wren is a lovely, elegant bookGOddess - ready to be your bookmark as you boldly read where you have never read before. On the other hand, if you've enjoyed a book in the past - why NOT read it again? Take Anya Wren along - her taste in literature is as vast and as varied as yours.

Her elaborate headwrap is made from various bits of pink batik, red print, and purple fabric embellished with gold paint. Having her hair tucked away means that there will be no distractions for her as she romps with you through the pages of --- whatever you are reading right now. I molded her face of model magic and painted it to resemble old metal. Her tunic is a bit of purchased paper (even I cannot withstand the allure of the paper aisle at the craft store!) which is embellished with gold buttons (paint) and a bit of an old book as a warm neck cozy. Her skirt is more purchased paper with a fringe of black feathers (really it's just paint)... but let's pretend it's feathers. Come on - pretend with me!! Finally, she has on black fashion boots which are perfect if you're reading a book about pirates or about fashion. Or a book with the word 'black' in it. OR any book. Let's face it, Anya Wren is nothing but versatile and she is sturily put together. If you don't insist on having her in your office cubicle to keep you company --- then she'll be your best-ever bookmark.

9.2" X 2.5" (236mm X 65mm) the right size, if you ask me, for a bookmark and Anya says - the 'perfect' size. Well, she is a bookGOddess and must know what she is talking about!
