Plumb Bob threader earrings

Description

A "plumb bob" is a construction tool in which a heavy and usually pointed weight is hung from a string and used to find a perfect vertical line. That's what the brushed silver beads in these earrings remind me of.

These earrings are simple but elegant. The sterling silver beads have a brushed finish and were hung from quite long threader ear chains that are meant to be pulled through the ear. Clear rubber stoppers are included with the earrings, allowing you to wear them like post earrings or thread them through the ear and slide the stopper to hold the earring in place.

The silver beads measure 14mm from hole to hole and 10.5mm in diameter. Overall height/length of earring is approximately 5.75 inches from end to end, but worn in various lengths.

Photos in hand taken outside in natural light and are not edited in any way, except to crop to size. All beads are kiln annealed for strength.

Please remember, loose beads are not toys and should not be given to young children as they may become a choking hazard.
