Big 23 Inch Upcycled Bear from Curly Lamb Coat

Description

I upcycled a curly lamb skin coat and made this big 23 inch bear. He's non-jointed and his nose and mouth are needle felted with hand-dyed and locally raised alpaca fiber. Eyelashes are out of a pricey, imported, natural fiber yarn. This entire bear is super soft and cuddly. His vest is made from a piece of bear print upholstery fabric that was also headed for the landfill and I made a hat for him to match. He's not suitable for smaller children because of sewn on, hand-blown glass eyes. A cuddly addition to any bear collection and a way to do our small part to save the planet. Thanks for looking!
