Color Me Beautiful...This striking earring has a deep fusion of eye popping colors. From plum purple and wine to Persian blue you will see a great matrix and blending of color that is hard to beat anywhere. The richness of the stone is why Kingman Mine turquoise has become one of my all time favorite to stones to work with. As explained below, this turqouise has been stabalized and color enhanced. If you are a fan of purple, I just know you will love the color!
You will receive this exact pair of earrings. The earring measures just shy of 2" inches. The smooth, flat teardrop beads measure 10 x 10mm.
Characteristics of Purple Turquoise:
Purple Turquoise is from the Kingman Turquoise mines out of Arizona. The turquoise is infused with red resin (red and blue make purple), then heat treated to bring out the matrixing (the reds, blues, and other colors that are shown through the purple). It was thought to protect against bad karma and maintain virtue.
All findings are made of sterling silver.
