9.7" tall X 2.5" wide (245mm X 65mm) she is the perfect size to keep your place in whatever book you are currently reading and is also, as it happens, a very small, portable piece of original art. Who says you can't have a work of art as a bookmark?!

Bronwen Bax is very elegant from her very fine furry hat (a bit of upholstery fabric whose frayed edges serve very nicely as fringe) down to her black fashion boots (paint). I molded her face from Model Magic and then painted it to resemble old copper with a blue-green patina of age even though she is brand new. Her dress is cut from a bit of scrapbooking paper which was too ugly for words so I painted it orange, colored on it a bit and then WROTE all over - complete nonsense, I assure you. THEN I stamped some gray paint over the top and this bit serves as a warm sweater for Bronwen... never mind the holes in the sweater -- they only go to show that 'shabby chic' is a way of life for the average bookGoddess. Finally, an underskirt from some very nice black and metallic gold paper complete her very interesting ensemble. Her orange-russet hair is a bit of unraveled upholstery fabric - she wears it loose because she may be elegant and serene at all times but she is also wild and uninhibited -- therefore equally at home in a textbook, a romance novel, a New York Times bestseller or... whatever you are reading now. She just wants to be along for the ride.

She is glued to a bit of heavy card stock using archival adhesives. Is she lovely - yes! Is she lonely -- YES! She wants to be out of my Etsy box and into your book! Please order her today. The End.
