This is a 4x5 inch original piece of art on a birch panel. Simply titled Quiet 2. Signed and dated by Camano Island artist Sue Simpson. This painting is done with the encaustic medium for depth, texture and a completely unique look.Encaustic wax has a very high melting temperature so you should not have any problems with melting. As with any original art work, exposure to direct sunlight or an open heat source should be avoided.
