This is an original collograph print and is not a reproduction. A collograph is printed from a plate that has been constructed from various materials. Different materials glued onto the base (usually matboard) hold onto different amounts of ink which in turn creates the variety of tones. Carborundum can help create blacks while areas with varnish will create whites. Once the edition is printed I like to hand color each print with watercolor.


The print will be shipped flat in a protective mailer with a sturdy backing board. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
