Framed and varnished, acrylic painting on board featuring a chicken and chick reading a little book 6.5" x 6.5"

Inspired by a lack of visually fun images for children's walls, One Red Shoe .co.uk have been producing these paintings along side our usual mural projects.

In amongst the corn, the chicken finally finds her lost chick- his beak buried in a book again.

The painting has been given a slightly folk art style with a aged, painted frame and sepia washes, before a good coat of non-toxic, protective glaze.

If you are placing this painting in a child's bedroom we would recommend fixing it in place with rounded picture plates that screw to the frame- we are providing these with the picture.
