Amethyst and Bells Mirror Tassel

Description

This tassel is made with two natural amethyst stones, purple Swarovski crystals, and two steel jingle bells. The small beads at the top of the tassel are charlottes, which are special Czech seed beads that have been cut on one side. This gives the bead a sparkling faceted look that is much more elegant than a simple round bead.

Amethyst is the stone associated with the Sixth, or Third Eye Chakra, which is the center for spirituality and intuition. It enhances feelings of joy and serenity, and promotes insight. Amethyst is also the birthstone for the month of February.

I have made this tassel with a barrel clasp. It twists together to make it easy to put on, and to keep it there securely. The beads are strung on clear nylon similar to fishing line, but made especially for beading. It measures 6 5/8 inches from end to end. There are 4 ½ inches between the clasp and the top crystal.

The places you can use this tassel are numerous! Hang it on backpacks, belt loops, in sunny windows, on doorknobs, or anywhere else that could use a pretty decoration!
