Pearls are symbolic of "something old," as it takes a very long time for a specimen to culture such a beauty...

The design symbolizes "something new," as it has elements of modernism and yet, it's classic...

The shell symbolizes "something borrowed," as we do from the ocean when we comb the beach in hopes of uncovering a buried treasure that had to have been left for us...

The painted teal pearls give it "something blue," a color that can symbolize purity, loyalty, clarity, and virtue.
