Artic Nights Pendant

Description

The stars shine brighter, the air captures your breath and the dark swirls strands of colors through the midnight sky. This pendant is made from 2 dichroic cabochons one is very silvery and pale pink, the other is more silver and blue. Each has a unique pattern to them which is hard to capture on film. The surrounding silver is 99.9% pure made from PMC. I used the silver to create a look of melting ice patches, there are dips, cracks and uneven edges. One cabochon even has a small crack inside the center which adds to the Artic feel of this piece. It is attached to a 16" sterling silver chain with a uniquely twisted headpin. I wanted to create a new type bail. It is approximately 1/2" high and 1 1/4" wide.

This necklace will snuggle near the base of your throat and add an great icy sparkle to your wardrobe!
