Angelica Starburst Shibori Top in Deep Red and Purple (small)

Description

Angelica flower? Or fireworks? Either way, I love this top. In deep reds and purples, it's perfect for the season and fabulous with jeans, slacks, or skirts.

With a boat neck, flared long sleeves, and a curved hemline, all finished with merrow edges, it flatters just about every body type. You’ll look great in it – even if you’re not a t-shirt kind of gal!

The design begins with me drawing directly on the top, then using maki-nui, hira-nui, and maki-age shibori hand stitched resists. It's then hand dyed and the stitches are removed to reveal the complex magic of the dye.

All dyes are Procion MX, which bond chemically with the natural fibers in your garment. That means it won’t fade or wash out and the hand stays soft and comfy. Machine washable and dryable, it won’t shrink either. The top is made of 100% cotton and constructed entirely with cotton thread – which means no unsightly white seams.
