6 Tiny Glass Cognac vials charms pendants with stoppers and Sterling Silver plate Caps
Description
6 Tiny glass Cognac vials. They come with Sterling silver plate caps with a 2mm hole for stringing a cord or a chainthrough.
The measurements are:
cap - 3/8 inch by 2/8 inch, or 1cm by 3/4 cm
vial - 6/8 inch by 1/4 inch, opening is about 3/16 inch,
or 2cm by 6/10cm, opening about 4mm
Vial with cap is about 1 inch or 2.5cm
They also come with plastic stoppers if you wish to fill them with a liquid.
The plastic stoppers fit inside the sterling caps and should also fit snug inside the glass vials.
The plastic stoppers are made to fit a few different sized caps, so they are manufactured with a large lip around them allowing them to be easily modified to fit whichever size cap you are using.
A quick "heat shrink " is all that is necessary to modify them.
A suggestion is to use a lighter, but NOT A DIRECT FLAME. Keeping the lighter quite low below the plastic stopper, just close enough to get enough heat to soften it. Use either your dampened fingers (since it's hot) or perhaps roll them on something to gradually decrease the outside lip around the plug. Work a little bit at a time and keep trying it to see how it fits. It should still be somewhat of a tight fit so it's snug.
