This painting celebrates the spirit of travel, and the human capacity to long to see other places in the world. Primarily depicting ultra-blue cyanotypes, the painting also depicts a Russian landmark,old postcards collaged onto the panel and a Hebrew menorah carved into the encaustic. The painting is filled with decorative flourishes carved into the rich deep layers of encaustic wax pigment.
