original mixed media - reaching for your hope
Description
"reaching for your hope", graphite, watercolor, letterpress, ink, pinholes, on paper, 5 in. x 7 in. It is an original, singular piece, signed, dated and titled.The paper is 100 percent cotton, neutral pH, and is a bright white color. It is sent with an acid-free firm backing in an archival sleeve.
This is an original drawing with watercolor, pinholes and letterpress. The pinhole method is something I have been doing for nearly eight years and is a primary medium of mine. It is labor intensive, as it is poking one hole at a time through paper with a needle to create a pattern, image, or text. The letterpress is made on my antique Vandercook proof press using hand set type.
