Here is a hand spun single ply yarn, spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool dyed by the Yarn Wench. The color is "Raking Leaves", just a perfect autumn color! Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney.
SKEIN 1 : 200 yards, 4 oz/114 grams
Wraps per inch: 15-16
Gauge per inch: 5.75-6
Recommended needles: 3-5 (metric: 3.25-3.75)
Recommended hook: D, E
thicker Sport weight
Hand wash cold, dry flat.
