Felted Bowl -- Orange

Description

This little orange wool and mohair bowl was first hand-knitted for bulk and strength, embellished with needle felting, then wet felted. Once dried and shaped, wool roving was applied via a dry felting technique. The bowl measures approx. 5" in diameter and 4" in height. It is decorated on the outside, front and back with a dark aubergine organic pattern and 3 puffy "pods" of roving in blue, light orange, and chartreuse. The aubergine "lines" converge in the inside center of the bowl. Ideal for holding jewelry, wrapped candies, pine cones, or other treasures. Makes a nice gift.

Care instructions: Item should be treated like any wool textile; that is, do not machine wash. Gentle spot cleaning with a damp cloth is acceptable.
