RUFFLED ORBIT - tatted necklace - original design - in hand dyed cotton with glass beads and red crystals
Description
My original design, which I have entitled "Ruffled Orbit".This lovely piece of jewelry uses the traditional craft of tatting in a contemporary way. There are hundreds of tiny knots, all tied by hand!
This choker necklace is easily adjustable from about 14.5 inches (37 cm) to about 16.5 inches (42 cm) by inserting the gold plated hook clasp into any of the tatted rings at the other end. The seed beads are glass; the larger beads are Swarovski crystal.
The thread is my own hand dyed "Pizzazz" 6-cord crochet cotton in size 20 - color varies from orange to dark red. It is a very durable thread, so the necklace will stay nice for a long time.
Care: occasionally wash by hand as you would any fine hand washable item. Rinse, reshape, and dry flat.
