In 1946 Edna met the love of her life at a dime-a-dance joint. This place was swingin' but she was no swinger! She was dragged there by some friends who thought that she should put down those books and put her good looks to better use! She was a wallflower to say the least. She sat at the table sipping her coke quietly avoiding the limelight when it happened. Their eyes met and they could not deny what was happening.

This sweet sweater has been given a second chance at a much more glamourous life than it may have had in it's former incarnation as a frumpy rib knit turtleneck. The label inside the sweater reads 100% new wool, and I've added a lovely contrasting trim of vintage wool tartan, creating a sweet little sailor-style yoke collar! There are three toggle style button loops down the front and each one cradles a lovely vintage faux bois button.

WAIST: 34" / 86.5 cm
SHOULDER WIDTH: 14" / 36 cm
SLEEVE LENGTH: 19.5" / 49.5 cm
LENGTH FROM BASE OF NECK: 20.5" / 52 cm

The sweater has been laundered, but I would advise against machine washing and drying so as to preserve the shape of this lovely item. Dry cleaning is suggested, unless you have experience laundering that temperamental 100% wool!
