Homespun Fall Leaves Quilted Table Runner from Country By Design
Description
Homespun fall leaves are machine appliqued onto an off white background back with 100% cotton batting on this Country By Design table runner. Stems were created by machine stitching. Then the runner was freehand quilted by machine, and a plaid homespun border was added. The off white muslin backing was added before the binding was applied. The double fold binding was finished by hand. The table runner measures 19 inches wide by 29 inches long.This fall leaf design was adapted from an original design entitled "Autumn Cardinals" by Rochelle Martin that was featured in the October 2008 issue of Quilter's World magazine.
