Chickens are great - they're a lot of fun, have a lot of personality, and come in the most amazing colors and patterns! Okay, maybe they don't come in bright blue, but they should. This plump little hen came out of the torch just as blue as could be, but that doesn't mean she's unhappy. Honestly, she looks pretty darn optimistic! She's made from this great French Blue CiM glass color, with yellow feet and beak and of course a red comb. She measures about an inch from beak to tail. I added two little blue Swarovski crystals and sterling silver to make her ready to wear as a pendant.

CrowbirdieBeads are made by me in my studio in Maryland. The beads are popped into a kiln to anneal as soon as they come out of the flame, then they're cleaned and ready for you. I ship them in a gift box, because any bead is either a gift to yourself or to someone you care about!
