Description
This beauty is in a medley of brown, taupe, shell pink and maroon, with ribbon yarn accents in autumn shades, and tiny accents of hot pink and shell pink ladder yarn. Around the rim is a spiky soft beige yarn surprise.11" (28 cm.) diameter at the base, 16" (40 cm.) diameter at the top, and sides are 8" (20 cm.) high. Slightly asymmetric as you'll note in the photos.
This basket is self-supporting as a sculptural piece--you can shape it with your hands and turn over the rim partly or all the way.
It could be washed by hand in cool/lukewarm water and left to sit on a towel to dry--so would be usable to hold fruit, bread, crackers or other 'clean' food. Or just stuff it with your favourite stash of special yarns that you're saving for your own surprise accent.
This sculptured basked will be shipped flat and you would just gently resuscitate it by shaping with your hands.
