Sterling Silver Earrings with Wood and Silver Inlay

Description

Part of my wood collection, this pair of earrings are inlaid with Brasilian Black Wood I found while I was living in Brasil. The wood gives a nice contrast from the silver, and the silver dots the same.
First I make the bezel the size desired for the earrings, then I cut the wood to fit exactly the same size. I hammered around the bezel to assure a tight fit while giving them a rustic texture. To inlay the silver dot I carefully make a hole the exact size of the piece of silver I want to inlay and insert the silver. Special precaution is taken to make sure that it stays for decades. All my work is guaranteed.
