sterling, 24k gold Keum-boo earrings
Description
You can feel the texture of the gold on these earrings.Keum-boo is a process of fusing 24k gold to sterling silver. I cut small pieces of 24k gold foil and carefully fuse them to sterling silver earrings. The fusing process is done with heat and pressure. I make my own 24k foil for the fusing process, it is much thicker than what you can buy for keum-boo. The ear wires are 14k gold.
