Before I even began this painting I prepared the canvas to create a chunky stucco like texture. This texture makes my painting even more spectacular then if it were painted straight on to a smooth, flat canvas. I try to show the close up details so you may see some of the texture, but I assure you it does not come close to what this looks like in person.
