Dragonscale Earrings -- Sterling and Copper

Description

Dragonscale is one of the most intricate chainmaille weaves. As the name implies, it resembles the scales of a dragon’s hide. The earrings are made from one layer of large sterling silver rings going in one diagonal direction, and a second layer of smaller copper rings oriented in the opposite direction. The rings are woven together one at a time to make a dense mesh.

The earrings measure 1 3/8" from the top of the earwire and 7/8" wide. They are on sterling silver French hooks with a copper ball accent, but I would be happy to trade out for posts or clip-on findings if you would prefer, just let me know.
