sprouts - handfelted pillow

Description

sprouts is an eco-friendly pillow.
the front of the pillow is a thick wet-felted piece in white polwarth wool and green/teals merino felts and fibers.
maroon silk embroidery embellish the organic design.
the back of the pillow is composed of woven wild nettle/organic cotton jacquard fabric handmade in nepal.

pillow is stuffed with clean, wool felt scraps and recycled polyfill. making for a nice light pillow worthy of a big hug.

wool is such a versatile and dreamy fibre to work with, and felt is used in so many different applications.
this piece is designed to be an original and seriously one of a kind art pillow for decor and well-being.
little bits of veggie matter and seeds seen in the felt are a natural part of using sheeps wool.

measures roughly 16" x 15" with double stitched, raw edges.

for care: spot clean, air dry outdoors
