This beautifully handcrafted necklace has been intricately carved with great detail and love. Have you ever read the book, The Secret Garden? You will immediately fall in love with gardening as I did. What I wouldn't give for a garden like the one in the movie! As hard as I work I have yet to accomplish such beauty but my garden does heal me like it seemed to do the boy in the story. My pendant holds a little secret all its own - you must try to find as many hearts as you can within its walls. Wear this one next to your heart and see how many hearts you can touch today.

Each pendant is carved from high quality porcelain and fired in an electric kiln to 2381 degrees. I do not use molds or slip cast any items. I spend many hours carving each piece and smoothing and sanding rough edges to create the intricate details.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" in diameter. The connector is made of sterling silver wire interlaced with a fossil bead made from a "genuine" fossil. The pendant comes with a black or ivory satin cord and a beautiful sterling silver heart-shaped clasp. Please indicate your cord color and length by contacting me at the contact section. If you do not choose a color, I will ship it with whatever I have in stock. It is beautiful with both colors so I don't think you will be disappointed either way.

Each necklace is slipped into a handmade satin drawstring pouch for safekeeping -- this is a nice way to give it as a gift as well.
