Autumn Forest bracelet

Description

The sun is shining and the day is calm and crisp. The autumn forest is full of colours. The leaves have changed their colour and make the trees blaze with hundreds of tones of red, yellow and orange. You can still find some green leaves, too. The berries have ripened and the forest is full of mushrooms just waiting to be picked up. It’s a perfect autumn day.

The bracelet is made of tagua seeds, red beans and ceramic beads. Tagua is a seed that grows in the tropical rain forests in South America. It’s also called ivory nut or vegetable ivory, as it resembles the animal ivory. The ripe nuts are collected from the ground and dried, after which they become very hard. Because of the natural process, the tagua beads in this bracelet aren’t totally symmetrical. There are some cracks in the seeds due to the drying process; but they are not faults and beautifully show that the material is natural and give it character. The seeds won’t crack more, as they are extremely hard.

The bracelet fits 18 cm (7 inches) wrist. It’s elastic, so it’s easy to put on.
