Alice in Wonderland Mini Hat

Welcome to Wonderland!

This little hat is from the house of Alice.

Mini hats are so much fun, and this multi-media piece is a take on this Gothic Lolita style. This hat starts with a felt base that has been speckle painted in blue over the black. Has a white tulle band and bow, polymer clay "Drink Me" bottle and two "Eat Me" cookies and a felted Dinah kitty at the back.

The felted kitty is done in a natural, hand washed, and carded wool, that came from student raised local sheep. I felted the piece with a loop at the back so that it can be removed and used as a decorative piece or accessory, cause I just couldn't bring my self to tie this little kitty down permenately.

These hats are designed to be worn on the top of the head, they will not "fit" as a traditional hat would, except on maybe a very small child or doll. This hat will have a beautiful black ribbon tie, unless you are looking for something else, I can also do elastic or a hair comb if you prefer.

NOTE: Some of the colors appear brighter on some moniters. The wool is not a true white but a "natural" color.
