DUSK Scarflette

Description

I composed this yarn with the colours that spring sky has here in late dusk, therefore the name…
It’s very soft and chunky, from the bumps I left spinning it, so I thought of knitting a light scarf, to wind and wind around the neck, and still feel it mild.

The pattern is simply ribbed, so both sides look the same, and the edges end up pointed, so I fancied inserting some beads matching the colours of the yarn. One day I found some handblown beads from Murano (ever heard of Venice?!) in an antique market, sprinkling from a counter: I immediately figured them on this scarflette and there it is, hanging and giving it an added touch of fashion.

Measurements: approx. 220 x 10 cm (87 x 4 inches)

Yarn: 100% handspun merinos/corriedale wool, thread plied
