Cumbiambera necklace
Description
This choker necklace is made of fiery red platino seeds (also called chocho rojo or tento seeds) and glass seed beads on tiger tail wire.These red seeds remind me of the sweet hot nights in the beautiful Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, and of the cumbiamberas - the cumbia dancers performing in its streets in the evenings.
The platino seeds are about 8mm (0.32") in diameter, the choker part of the necklace is 47cm (18.5") long, and the "pendant" part is 3cm (1.18") long.
Hypoallergenic. NOT waterproof - these seeds don't like moisture.
