Small Satchel PDF Sewing Pattern

Make your own small but sweet satchel with this simple and fun sewing pattern! This pattern is suitable for all sewing levels and in only 1-2 hours you'll have a brand new bag.

This bag is the perfect size to hold your wallet, phone, make-up, keys, small journal, sunglasses, etc.

It is fully lined and includes one interior patch pocket.

Closes with a flap and magnetic snap.

Measures 11.5" at the widest point x 5.5" high x 2.5" deep. To give you reference it is a little longer than the average woman's forearm and about one hand length in height.

Two 18" straps let you tuck it sweetly under your arm or carry it in your hand. For an average height woman the bottom of this bag will hang right around the level of your elbow.

Supplies:
*3/4 yard focus fabric (outside fabric)
*1/2 yard lining fabric
*3/4 yard iron-on interfacing
*Magnetic snap
*Ruler
*Fabric marker or chalk
*Thread

Please note that you can make more than one bag with these amounts, but you do need at least 19" of continuous fabric to make the straps.
