Longing - Vintage Pottery Necklace

Description

"Longing" just reminds me of a youthful woman that awaits her young love, who is out to sea. This beautiful piece of Scottish, vintage pottery is 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide and has a raised floral print on it. It hangs on a 16" to 18" (2 inch extension of the chain)elongated silver plated chain and is secured by a hook clasp. For added charm there is swarovski crystal and pearl dangling near the clasp. Beautiful!

Sea glass is formed from discarded or broken glass that dropped into the sea and can be as mysterious as glass from a shipwreck from ages ago. The current and tide of the water pushes the glass back and forth over the sandy bottom of the sea, tumbling the glass shards to a beautiful frosted finish, and often rounding and softening the edges of the glass to make beautiful colored-glass jewels that wash up onto the shore. This particular piece was found along the beaches of Scotland.

All pieces that I use for my jewelry are AUTHENTIC sea glass found on the shore and hand-picked.
