Lean on Me - Sea Glass Necklace

This is such a stunning sea foam, sea glass gem pendant! It reminds me of a couple, snuggling close together and in love. The piece is very prominent, measuring almost 2" long and 7/8" wide and is very rounded and frosted in appearance. The pendant has a fine silver bail and hangs from a beautiful 18" silver plated fancy chain. The necklace is secured by a lobster claw clasp and for some added charm, a swarovski crystal dangles close by the clasp. This would be perfect to wear with that button up blouse, it has such poise and sophistication. Enjoy!

Sea glass is formed from discarded or broken glass that dropped into the sea and can be as mysterious as glass from a shipwreck from ages ago. The current and tide of the water pushes the glass back and forth over the sandy bottom of the sea, tumbling the glass shards to a beautiful frosted finish, and often rounding and softening the edges of the glass to make beautiful colored-glass jewels that wash up onto the shore. This particular piece was found on the shore of Scotland.
