Teddy Bear Birthday / Baby Shower Invitation / Announcement/ Card

This is a birthday invitation I made for my then 2 year old son's party at Build-A-Bear. It turned out so cute that I've decided to make it available to others.

This bear is made of terry cloth (actually a towel!) and batting, so it's rather cuddly for an invitation. It is approximately 7 1/2" across and top to bottom and 8 1/2" across at the ears. These will each be custom made for you, so the color of the fur, ribbon, etc. can be your choice. Imagine how sweet this would be in pink or blue for a baby shower invitation! Several of the people I gave them to added a magnet to the back so they could hang it on their fridge, which could also be an option (for an additional charge of the cost of the magnet).

This bear can be sent to you with your party/announcement info on the back, or they can be blank (meaning no heart) and you can add your own. It can also be customized with your own special birthday/congratulations, etc. greeting.

These are meant to be hand-delivered, so there are no envelopes included. They do fit in a letter-size manilla envelope (office supply stores also sell them in white).

The bears are very time-consuming to make, so be sure you have enough lead-time when ordering.
