Description

Cut Yuzen Washi paper forms this 5" x 7" sized Friendship card.

Type says "Friendship is the golden thread that ties all hearts together"

Blank inside for your own personal greeting.
The hearts are graduated in size and hang from a thin metallic gold line.Japanese washi paper flower prints. Colors are red, white, purple, black, pink, green and metallic gold.Yuzen means made by hand (a traditional dyeing technique - These papers are hand-dyed by "Kimono" Dyers in Kyoto Japan.) Washi means traditional Japanese Paper.This is a soft, almost translucent, but very strong paper made of interlocking fibers of the bark of a mulberry plant (kozo). Each color is individually silk-screened and allowed to dry before applying the next color. The final ink applied is the gold, giving the colorful sheets their distinctive richness.
All creations here are handmade/crafted/hand printed by me and are One-Of-A-Kind (OOAK) in Design and/or materials used.
