this is a coupler, you can walk 2 dogs on 1 leash. it can be attached to any leash. this coupler is made out of 10mm new, as opposed to recycled, mountain climbing rope. this rope is resistant to grit, grime, humidity, and abrasion which significantly extends the life of the coupler. i use big metal rope clamps to secure each end and then cover them with heat shrink for a finished look. these couplers are strong, they have been tested on thousands of big strong dogs for over four years. they are designed to last years. however, they are not chew proof…so if you’ve got a chewer or a teething puppy, buy them lots of chew toys, and put this away the minute the walk is over.

this coupler is blue gray with bright orange and red…and uber hip! it is big and strong…with 8,800 pounds of tensile strength! it is best suited for a big dogs weighing over 55 pounds each. it is made with big rope, heavy swivel hooks and large rope clamps. it measures about 30 inches from top to bottom or approximately 55.5 inches from end to end. there is a heavy swivel at the top end that attaches to the leash and swivel hooks at the other ends that attach to each dog's collar or harness as seen in the photos. the swivels help so each dog can move around and the rope and the leash doesn't get tangled. the environment in which you walk your dogs helps to determine the length of coupler you need. the long length is best for big dogs and wide-open spaces.

it is machine washable in cold water and a garment bag so it does not clunk around or get tied up in your washer, and dried flat.
