Ho Ho Ho Christmas T-Shirt Quilted Wall Hanging

Make your holidays a little more festive or, you know, just make a statement about slutty Cousin Karin with a happy little T-shirt quilt that you can give as a gift, hang on the wall, or place decoratively on a tabletop somwhere that Cousin Karin can see it.

This quilt is about 15" square, and is pieced from a vintage Ho Ho Ho holiday T-shirt and new green fleece, sandwiched with new fleece batting and a new red flannel backing, quilted in my own design with red thread, and edged with a mock binding made from the same red flannel backing. It's ready for loving or framing, but if you'd rather hang it from hanging loops, just let me know in the special instructions when you order and I'll sew five on for you in matching ribbon.

The materials I use are pre-washed with free and clear detergent in my high efficiency washing machine. The T-shirt material is pre-loved, of course, and comes to you with a history of its own, in accordance with the recycling ethic that informs my work. Repurposing outdated materials into new works of art is an environmentally friendly and culturally aware practice. Imagine the life this T-shirt has led--the adventures, the triumphs, the tragedies! And all it ever wanted to do was just to come home finally to you.
