But here he is, soaring above a cloud: Raccoon Mario is now in needlepoint form. And he comes with the frame and the mat. Score!
The outer dimensions of the frame are 10.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches tall. The inner dimensions of the mat opening are approximately 4.5 inches wide by 6.5 inches tall.
A lot of people mistake my work for cross stitch. I assure you it is most DEFINITELY NOT cross stitch. Nothing against the X-shaped stitch, but I never use it. A lot of people have also assumed that I am stitching onto a fabric, but I actually stitch onto plastic canvas and the backgrounds are stitched as well. Because there is so much stitching involved, even the smallest of my work takes me around 8 hours to complete, while the bigger ones go well into double digits.
