Peridot is said to have been the favorite gemstone of Cleopatra. It is associated with patience, confidence, eloguence in speech and it is believed to slow the aging process. Peridot is the traditional gemstone for August.

Simple yet elegant, these earrings are made from a sterling silver Bali-style drop, inset with a round peridot (green) gemstone, suspeded from a 4mm ball sterling silver post. Sterling silver butterfly nuts hold the earrings securely in your ear. Approximately 1" (25mm) high overall by 1/2" 12mm) wide.
