I just loved this entire Life Book series when I was a kid!
These gorgeously illustrated and informative books from the 1970s are aimed at a 4th to 6th grade reading level and are jam-packed full of spectacular color and black and white photos, glorious illustrations of plants, animals, geography, biology, weather patterns and the effects of people impacting the desert landscape. Very very cool stuff.
This 8" x 10 1/4" copy is in nice tight condition with very little wear and has 128 crisp clean pages.
