Pink Cupcake Art Necklace

Description

Pendant Size: 1 3/4" x 1 13/16" - plus loop at top which is 7/16" x 9/16"

(approx 4.5cm x 4.5cm plus loop at top which is 1cm x 1.3cm)

Comes with pink ribbon necklace, ready for wearing

This funky art necklace is pure cupcake bling! The centerpiece of this adorable necklace is a pink cupcake that I photorealistically painted. Yep, that's a print of a painting, not a photo! (P.S. - The original painting has sold, but prints are available for purchase in my other etsy shop, http://thaneeya.etsy.com .) The cupcake was printed using archival inks onto 100% cotton percale. The print is permanent, lightfast, and hand washable in cold water and gentle soap.

The delightful cupcake print was then securely hand-sewn onto melon pink felt, ringed with bright red embroidery thread, then backed with a final layer of oriental red felt. The felt is 30% wool, 70% synthetic. The melon pink felt was embroidered with a ring of glass beads in various shades of pink. Each bead has been carefully threaded 3 times each, to ensure long-lasting security.

A white loop of felt at the top allows the connection of a dainty pink ribbon. The ribbon is 18" long with a 2" extender chain. (That's approximately 23cm long with a 5cm extender chain.) There is a large light pink bead on the white loop, that has been threaded through about 7 or 8 times. However, it is advisable not to tug or pull on it too much - not that you would, but sometimes we fiddle absent-mindedly with our jewelry.

US buyers:

Shipping will be $2.00. This amount covers the costs of postage and packing materials. The pendant will ship via USPS First Class Mail which generally takes 2-3 days but may take longer. Insurance is optional and is an additional $1.65. If insurance is not purchased, I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

International buyers:

Shipping will be $2.50. The pendant will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail International. Arrival time depends on destination. Because tracking and insurance are NOT included, I am not responsible for lost, late or damaged packages. The buyer is responsible for any and all duties upon arrival of the package. If you would like the security of tracking and insurance, send me a message and I will let you know the shipping cost to your country for this additional protection.
