Duckegg Blue and Light Grey Felted Lambswool Scarf for a Child
Description
Duckegg blue and light marled grey skinny striped scarf. When I made it, I had in mind the possibility of it being a gift for boys - i.e. using colours which aren't too girly!Made on my domestic knitting machine, then felted to give it a gorgeously soft feel. Mind you, the soft Scottish water it was washed in probably helps too :)
As it's made from beautifully soft felted lambswool, the scarf tends not to itch like other 'pure new wool' woolly scarves can.
Handmade in Scotland from 100% Merino Lambswool.
Approx. dimensions: 5.5 x 167 cm or 2.25 x 65.75 inches
This size is suitable for a child aged about 13+
Care Instrucions: Gentle hand wash only, using cold water. (this will prevent the fabric from felting any further)
