The Francoise 2 Jacket continues my exploration of vintage denim outerwear & clothing inspired by French school children of a past era yet modern in detail.

Handcrafted from pristine, unused, new 'old stock' 70s indigo striped vintage denim yardage. Lined with new, velvet soft navy blue wide wale cotton corduroy.

This 100% cotton mid-weight denim was made in the USA. Newly made denim pales in quality compared to this superior vintage material. Recycling at its best!

Super comfy, oversize cut with raglan sleeve styling accommodates chunky sweaters, hoodies & multiple layers. Roomy hood buttons up to chin on blustery days or opens for ventilation.

Antique pearl button closure features hand-fringed fabric patches & elastic loops for easy on/off. Expect buttons will vary some.

Cozy corduroy lined kangaroo pockets. Extended hip, fanny warmer back.

Body insulated with lightly fulled (washed/shrunk in hot H2O) woolen fabric for warmth without bulk.

Comfy raglan sleeves allow free movement.

Turn up cuff sleeves grow with child.

Suitable for chilly & damp Fall, Winter temps and early Spring. Layering over a hoodie or stout wool sweater extends comfort range to lower temperatures.

Pre-washed fabric (hot H2O/heavy duty cycle) to ensure integrity & minimize shrinkage.
