Original Encaustic - Untitled ( Three Men)
Description
this original work of three modern men is an encaustic painting. a base encaustic layer is applied to a painted masonite panel. i transfer my drawings then overlay acrylic paint and more encaustic onto the images. the wax is lifted, scraped, and incised in areas. i finish the piece with an ink rub to dull the color and enhance the texture of the wax.this piece is a recessed cradled panel made by me. it has a wire hanger on the back. grab a hammer and nail and this piece is ready to hang on your wall.
