Black Rain - Jet Black Beaded Net Collar Necklace with Czech Glass Drops

My new favorite creation....

I made this net collar with jet black Toho seed beads and fire-polished jet black faceted Czech glass drops on the bottom. The drops reminded me of water drops for some reason - hence the name. When I was almost finished I envisioned a dancer wearing it - so I added wire through the top for extra durability and ended it with a sterling silver lobster clasp and chain. The chain has one of the black pendants as an end piece.

The necklace is meant to be worn high up on the neck - a choker I guess. Due to the chain it will fit anyone with a neck from 13 to 14 inches. If needed I can add more chain to make it longer. It is 2 inches wide.
