Woman of the Woods - FRAMED 14x17 nature collage and painting

Description

"Woman of the Woods" is a collage created from nature. The face is almost entirely constructed of Birch Bark, while the hair is made of leaves. This collage is multi-media as paint has also been added to give a more monochromatic and visual appeal. The hair has been painted the brown, but the texture of the leaves shows through. As a result, this collage is not only about the Woman of the Woods, but also about shape, line, color and texture.

I will point out that this was an experimental process and is not perfect. There are a few minor flaws that perhaps only I as the artist notice, but seem to disappear as you look at the image. Despite any imperfections, this collage is a jpy to look at!

The entire image, including border measures 14x17 inches, and is firmly attatched to foamcore board. The image has been sealed to help protect it, and has also been framed for you in a black frame. All that is left is for it to be hung up and enjoyed!
